It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not die, but only retire a little from sight and afterwards return again. Nothing is dead. People feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals and mournful obituaries, and there they stand, looking out of the window, sound and well in some strange new disguise...Ralph Waldo Emerson

| Bonnie Stryker's Gold
Canyon Steakhouse certainly qualifies as a unique
eatery. The food is superb, the staff is friendly; and
of course the restaurant is haunted! I have been
involved with several investigations at the restaurant
and am convinced there are a number of ghosts in the
building. There is also the possibility it could be a
portal whereby spirits are able to enter and exit this
world. |

of the investigative team during the first walk through
of the restaurant. The sensitive was immediately drawn
to an area by the front door. Several sightings have
occured in this area.

orb on the curtain in upper right hand part of the upper
photo. An orb is in the middle right hand side of the
photo below.

The photo at left was taken by
Bill Oberding using a Sony Mavica during our second
investigation of the restaurant. If you look closely you
can see what appears to be a man's face forming on the
back wall. This is especially interesting because this
is the area where much of the activity and sightings
occur. A sensitive who accompanied us on this
investigation felt the presence of a middle aged man
near a table in the front of the restaurant. Other
sightings have been reported in the back dining areas of
the restaurant.
 This
photo was taken during the day at the Gold Canyon
Steakhouse. The anomaly appears in an area where a
ghostly man is sometimes seen. Both of these photos and
details of investigations at the restaurant are in my
new book Ghosthunters Guide to Virginia
City. |
